Calculators
Free trading calculators for gold and forex.
Ten tools for the numbers every trade depends on: how big, what each pip is worth, what the trade pays or costs, how much margin it locks, whether the plan has an edge, where a steady return leads, what a martingale sequence really risks, whether a prop firm challenge is passable, where the day's pivot levels sit and which sessions are open right now. Built around gold (XAUUSD); they also cover forex, indices, oil and crypto in any account currency.

Most losing accounts are not lost on bad entries; they are lost on sizes that were never calculated. The calculators here go in the order a trade is actually planned: decide the money at risk and the stop, get the lot size, check what a pip is worth at that size, see the profit and the loss, and confirm the margin fits inside the account.
The risk/reward calculator works on the plan itself: the ratio, the win rate needed to break even, the expectancy and the losing streak to expect. The compounding calculator shows where a steady return leads, what withdrawals cost it and what lot each period supports. The martingale calculator puts the arithmetic of a doubling grid in front of you before you run one.
Before a funded challenge, the prop firm calculator turns the firm's rules into dollars and simulates your odds. For the chart, the pivot and Fibonacci calculator maps the levels and the sessions clock shows when London and New York are open together.
Built the way the journal counts.
Gold is quoted to two decimals and brokers disagree on what a pip is. The DGCPUBLIC journal counts 0.10 as one pip ($10 per lot); the calculators default to the same and let you switch to 0.01 if your platform counts points. Whatever you choose, the money result is identical as long as the stop uses the same unit.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored and there is no sign-up. Every result can be copied, shared as a link, or saved as a branded PDF, an image, an Excel sheet or a CSV — all four are built on your own device, so no calculation of yours ever reaches our server.
FAQ
About the calculators
Are the calculators free?
Yes, all of them, with no sign-up. They run in your browser, send nothing to a server and store nothing. A free member account adds the trading journal, where you can keep the sizes and outcomes of your trades.
Can I download the result?
Four ways, all built in your browser: a branded one-page PDF, an image of the same card, an Excel sheet (.xlsx) and a plain CSV. The sheet and the CSV carry your inputs, every result line and the full table, with the numbers as real numbers so you can keep working on them; the sheet also opens in Google Sheets and Numbers. Nothing is uploaded, and no copy is kept on our server.
Are the results specific to gold?
Gold (XAUUSD) is the default because that is what DGCPUBLIC builds for, with the 100 oz contract and the 0.10 pip size the journal uses. Every calculator also covers silver, the major and cross forex pairs, US30, NAS100, US500, oil and BTC, plus a custom instrument for anything else.
Can I use my account currency?
Yes. Pick USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, PKR, INR and others, enter the rate for one US dollar, and balances, risk and results are shown in that currency with the USD figure alongside.
Are the calculators financial advice?
No. They perform arithmetic on figures you enter. Example prices are placeholders, contract sizes differ between brokers, and no result is a recommendation to trade. See the risk notice at the bottom of the page.
Keep the numbers with the trade.
Every member gets a free trading journal: log the size you just calculated, the stop, the target and the outcome, then review by week and by setup.
