Risk Disclosure
Read this before you run anything we publish on a live account. Trading leveraged products can cost you all of your capital.
If you remember one line from this page: run it on demo first, size every trade so a run of losses cannot end the account, and never risk money you need.
Trading risk
Trading gold, forex, CFDs and other margin products carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all of your capital. Leverage multiplies both gains and losses. These products are not suitable for everyone. Trade only with money you can afford to lose, and seek advice from a licensed professional if you are unsure.
Past results
Hypothetical, simulated, demo, backtested and past results do not predict future results. Backtests are run on historical data with assumptions about spread, slippage and execution that a live account will not reproduce exactly. A strategy that performed well in one market period can lose in another.
Automated trading
An Expert Advisor executes written rules on your account. It does not think, it does not react to news, and it does nothing about an unexpected gap. Results depend on your broker, your settings, your risk, your VPS uptime and the market itself. Run any system on a demo account first, for long enough to see it in different conditions, and never leave an automated system unattended with risk you have not measured.
Software can also fail: a VPS can reboot, a connection can drop, a broker can requote, a symbol specification can change. Plan for those cases with hard stops and position sizes that survive them.
Grid, martingale and recovery tools
Strategies that add to a losing position — martingale, grids and recovery modes — produce a long run of small wins and, eventually, one loss that can be larger than all of them together. Our martingale calculator shows the arithmetic: the exposure grows exponentially while the account does not. We publish these tools so the maths is visible before anyone runs them, not as a recommendation to run them.
Copying and bridges
Our bridge tools copy orders between terminals you control. Copying multiplies the same decision across accounts, including a wrong one, and lot scaling can make the copy riskier than the source. Test on demo terminals first.
Calculators and studies
Our calculators perform arithmetic on the figures you enter. Example prices and conversion rates are placeholders, not live quotes, and contract sizes and pip definitions differ between brokers — check your own symbol specification. Chart studies are published after the price action has already happened and are teaching material, not trade calls.
Brokers and partner links
Partner broker links are affiliate links and the broker may pay us a commission. We are not responsible for a broker's execution, spreads, swaps, withdrawals, solvency or regulatory standing. Check a broker's regulation and terms in your own country before you deposit anything.
No advice
Nothing we publish is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any instrument. Every decision and every result is yours. See our Terms of Service for the full position.
